what’s cracking, This is the first of many routines that I will be teaching you. I call them routine starters because I get a lot of people who want to learn to do choreography but don’t know how to get started. This is a beginner Hip hop routine that you can add your own moves to. The song I used is Ciara, “Like a Boy“.You can use this song or feel free to use any song that you like. So check it out and let me know what you think. Also, feel free to share your videos of the choreography that you added!
The Marathon came as a shock to me after wading through the refuse of the first half of this EP; they are actually listenable, even engaging at times. The future of this group definitely revolves around Enyaphace being the centerpiece plus a heavy dose of Joey Price on bass in the mix. Plummer works better as color and is even bearable with easier vocals & a more limited range.Don’t Know Why was like a breath of life and both rapper & singer blend well in their respective roles. For once, I’m not tired of the keyboard…maybe it’s simply the piano sound as opposed to the ever present synth in the first half. My only gripe with Don’t Know Why is that Enyaphace should be up a couple decibels in the mix. Tiptoe is an anomaly in that the synth is well placed and effective. Enyaphace gets crazy like a hippie on this track and highlights his skills in absorbing the current trends in rap rhythm. A particular highlight is the emergence of the vocoder (a severely underused instrument if you ask me). Tag: hip hop lyrics
