Ne-Yo - Go On Girl

I can’t get it back, but
I don’t want it back, I
Realized that,
She don’t know how to act
Never been a dumb dude
No I’m not dense
I Just had a slight lack
Of common sense
I was the good guy
She was the bad girl
I’m thinking one girl
She thinking me, earl James and jimmy
Yep she had plenty
But love for me, she didn’t have any

I was inviting, her into my heart
But she was out riding in some other man’s car
She was my night time, thought I was her star
Guess I was wrong, but see I’m strong
Wont take long for me to move on

The Hundreds is a clothing line that’s inspired by the underground skate, surf, punk and hip hop scene. The clothes are said to remind people of the 90’s surf/skate independent streetwear apparel that was so popular back then. They’re known world wide by the leading surf and skate retailers and only have a limited amount of stock available in the best boutiques.

At the moment they’ve only got stock in Queensland and Victoria- but they do have an online store! Check out their site for more details and more photos of their clothes.

Pretty much everyone is aware of Radiohead’s In Rainbows and the ground-breaking pay-what-you-want marketing ploy. You probably also know that In Rainbow is now available on CD. I waited to buy the CD and my humble opinion is that the album is Radiohead’s best since OK Computer

Oakland DJ Amplive has produced a tribute to this album in the form of hip hop remixes. He enlisted the help of a number of exceptional musicians including Del The Funkee Homosapien, Too $hort, and Chali 2na of Jurassic 5. At first the powers-that-be (I’m hoping it wasn’t Radiohead but maybe I’m just naive) attempted to stop the release but now all parties involved are allowing the free distribution of this very interesting online album.

The album, titled Rainy Dayz Remixes, is “composed exclusively of source material pulled from In Rainbows“. It’s a mixed bag but the best tracks are those complimented by the guest rappers or vocalists. After a amateurish intro, “Video Tapes” gets things rolling with a great performance by Del. “Nudez”, featuring Too Short and MC Zumbi, is a nice atmospheric track with the two guest artists rapping over Thom Yorke vocal samples. “15 Stepz”, featuring Codany Holiday, is a soulful outing while “Reckonerz” with Charli2na has some of the lyrics of the collection. The other tracks do not fare as well but “All I Need” is somewhat interesting. Overall, this is an impressive tribute set recommended to Radiohead fans and people who appreciate exceptional hip hop productions.

Rainy Dayz Remixes is available in 192kbps MP3. If you like the music, support the artists…Amplive and the guest artists, that is. Radiohead is rich enough!
