My Top 3

1994 Arguably the best year in Hip-Hop of all time. Do your research. I will put all the albums that came up that year against any year. Come on people, it was so hard to narrow the list down to 5. I had so many favorites. The Roots,(personal favorite) Redman, Scarface, Common, The Beatnuts, Mc Eight, Man i could go on and on. Outkast first album. Kurrios.LOL WOW.  And thats not even mentioning the best albums of that year. Lets get started.

5. Tical By Method Man

He had the energy,flow,lyrics & charisma to be the first out of the Wu. Made a classic. Ticallllll!!!!!

4. The Sun Rises In The East By Jeru The Damaja

True Hip-Hop heads know about this here. CLASSIC!!!Primo on the boards with Jeru being a true Emcee. Played this from front to back. No fast forward. LOL. U know we had tapes back then.
Track: Come Clean

3. Hard to Earn By Gangstarr

One of the Greatest of all time here. By this time everyone wanted a Primo beat. Him and Guru put out a master piece.

2. Ready to Die By Notorious B.I.G.

Hardcore at its finest. The reason there is a Bad Boy records. Great concepts, lyrical content with hes slow flow was unmatched.

1. Illmatic By Nas

He took over the industry with this record. Changed the game completely. Who ever don’t know about this album is not an official Hip-Hop head. WORD!!! New School cats need to go cop that and study it.
